Michelle and Pete chose sunny San Diego for their elopement

These two are from Las Vegas and wanted a small ceremony on a beach in California.  I helped them choose Windansea Beach which is one of my absolute favorites.  This beach has the added dimension of beautiful cliffs and rocks, not just sand and water.

I always love unique sentimental details at weddings.  Michelle had a gorgeous cape designed and made by one of her close friends in case it was a bit cool in the evening.  This is always a smart choice in San Diego where the temperatures can drop quick once the sun starts to dip.  The cape also made for some beautiful and regal portraits.

Their ceremony was short and sweet and exactly what they imagined.  I also helped Michelle and Pete with their wedding timeline.  It can be tricky sometimes deciding the best times for portraits, etc.  We made sure that the ceremony and portraits would be during the most beautiful light on the beach.  The gorgeous weather made the day even more perfect!
